I've painted this hypnotising view several times now. I feel so drawn to the way the light reflects against the water. I painted it to capture this intense connection between the viewer and the earth. I painted the edges to frame the painting in this beautiful way.

I’m in the process of understanding what direction my art is calling me towards. I tend to move from one subject to another quite often. I put a lot of pressure on myself to focus on one thing, but then I get excited to explore something different.

For now, I’m trying to let go of feeling like I need to have it all figured out, and just paint.
