This painting was inspired by evenings spent in a cabin we lived in Australia, where time seemed to soften. As night fell, the space would fill with warmth, the glow of the fire, the quiet comfort of sitting still, a glass of wine made from the same soil the cabin rested on.
The work reflects my interest in how environments hold memory, and how warmth - both physical and emotional - can shape our experience of time. Painting this scene feels like returning to a slower rhythm, where presence matters more than movement.
