This painting is incredibly close to my heart. It was inspired by a 4am road trip with my partner, Will, to a mystical place called Castle Cove in Victoria, Australia, just in time to watch the sun rise. The peace and stillness in the air that morning were unforgettable, like the whole world had paused for a moment. As we looked out over the ocean that day, I felt overwhelmed by the sheer natural beauty the earth gifts us. When I look into this painting now, it still takes me back to that feeling of complete solitude.
