Dentro Da Minhã Cabeça

This piece was created for the final exhibition of my BA Fine Art degree, during a period of deep experimentation and personal growth. Developed over more than 100 hours of drawing, the work emerged through an intuitive process rooted in my subconscious. I kept written records of my dreams, using them as a source of imagery and sensation, and aimed to translate the strange, disorienting atmosphere of dreaming into a physical form.

Alongside the drawing, I worked with wood and metal to construct the piece, allowing material and movement to become integral to the experience. The slow, clockwise rotation was carefully calibrated to mirror the dizzy, shifting nature of dreams, offering new perspectives over time and encouraging prolonged observation. As the work unfolds, it invites viewers to linger, absorb its layered elements, and drift through its evolving presence.
